I have a gentle, safe manner and I move at the pace that my patients feel most comfortable with. We’ll focus on posture,  breathing techniques, stress reduction, and developing healthy habits. No. However, I provide you superbills which you can use to ask your insurance company for partial reimbursement. I don’t take insurance so I can focus on improving your health, not maximizing reimbursement from insurance companies.

What happens during a session?

I personalize every session to each patient. We’ll focus on posture, breathing techniques, stress reduction, and developing healthy habits. We’ll use massage, strengthening exercises, and internal massage when appropriate. I don’t use speculums or other instruments.

Why should I pick you over another Pelvic Floor Therapist?

We'll work together to form healthy habits, make lifestyle changes, and use restorative exercises to create lasting transformation. I understand that the body and life are ever-changing, so simply "fixing" you on a massage table won't make a difference if we don't address how you move through life. Working with me means we'll be tackling your challenges from all angles.

What's the difference between Physical Therapy (PT) and Occupational Therapy (OT)?

Physical Therapists (PTs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs) are both licensed medical professionals who can treat pelvic health conditions. Both disciplines have a lot of similarities and the most important thing is finding a provider that you're comfortable working with. The subtle difference is that Physical Therapists' training focusses on improving the function of their patients' bodies (ie - are their muscles too tight or loose), whereas Occupational Therapists' training focusses on improving their patients' abilities to perform the activities they care about (ie - managing incontinence).
